Audra DeVisser, B.Sc., BC-HIS

Hearing Instrument Practitioner

I have enjoyed working in the hearing health industry since 2001. I graduated from the University of Winnipeg with a B.Sc. (Hons) and subsequently entered the Occupational Health and Safety Program at the British Columbia Institute of Technology. I took a real interest in the damaging effects of occupational noise exposure during this time. I was on contract with the OHS Dept of a large manufacturer when an employment opportunity in the hearing health field was presented to me. I became very interested in the field, and two years later I graduated from the Hearing Instrument Practitioner Program at Grant MacEwan College. Since graduation, I have obtained my Board Certification in Hearing Instrument Sciences.

Dianne Lubinski, BC-HIS

Hearing Instrument Practitioner

I was employed with Winnipeg Hearing Centres in an Administrative position prior to entering the Hearing Instrument Practitioner’s program at Grant McEwan College. I graduated in 2008. I have always wanted to pursue a career that focuses on improving an individual’s quality of life, and this is a perfect fit. My administrative experience in the industry has allowed me to expand upon my skills in working with the elderly and pediatric populations. I find a career that involves helping people with hearing loss is personally and professionally satisfying.
